Legoland Billund

Legoland Billund, the original Legoland park, opened on June 7, 1968 in Billund, Denmark. The park is located next to the original Lego factory and Denmark's second busiest airport Billund Airport. Over 1.9 million guests visited the park in 2011 and since the opening more than 50 million guests have visited the park.

This makes Legoland the largest tourist attraction in Denmark outside of Copenhagen. The Legoland parks that have since been built are modelled upon Legoland Billund, most noticeably the Miniland area which is made up of millions of Lego bricks.

Polar X-plorer

Jump aboard a snowmobile and take your family on an amazing rollercoaster ride through the huge Polar Land – filled with wild LEGO® animals and live penguins. Hold on to your hat and grab your goggles as you whiz over the icebergs. But beware: all of a sudden, you’re going to crash through the ice, take a unique five-metre “free fall”. So climb aboard if you dare – this is going to be REALLY cool!

Monorail

Jungle Racers

If you are a speed addict who does not mind getting your feet wet, then pull back the throttle on your jet ski in Jungle Racers. But watch out, otherwise you might get waterbombed! People ashore can activate underwater bombs that send a pillar of water into the air. Evasive action is the only course if you do not want to get hit by a jungle jet of water.

Pirate Splash Battle

Take a boat trip that takes you past dastardly LEGO® pirates, cackling parrots and sinister shipwrecks. Bring the whole family along to the Pirate Boat ride and get ready for the water cannons. If you don’t fire first, you’ll be shot at!

Duplo Planes

NINJAGO The Ride

Put on your 3D glasses and use all your ninja cunning. First, you have to learn to master the elements of fire, earth, lightning and ice. Then, using sophisticated new technology and air pressure, you fight out a battle on the screen in front of you. It requires teamwork and excellent fighting skills to finally defeat The Great Devourer – the great serpent and arch enemy of the ninjas.
