Tivoli Friheden

Tivoli Friheden is an amusement park located in Aarhus, Denmark. The park was visited by more than 365,000 visitors in 2009, and the figure is rising.The park is situated about 2 km to the south of the city centre.It has several themed sections with different types of attractions. There are more than 40 attractions.The water section (Tivoli VanDvittig) covers an area of 5,000 ㎡.

Experience the ultimate film-game in 5D Cinemagic!Prepare yourself for an action packed experience in the park’s very own 5D-Cinemagic movie theater.

Behind the magic glasses the film is shown in 3D while the wind whips around your ears (4D). There is no time to sit back in the lively seats because you need to battle against the others (5D) in the year’s coolest film-game-experience.

In 2012 Peter Panduro became the high score holder with 54,700 points. He has therefore won his own tile with his name on “The Walk of Fame” in Tivoli Friheden.

In the Illusions Factory you will meet optical illusions and delusions that will challenge the mind and physics in an environment where you must join in to create the experience.

Your visit in the Illusions Factory is a journey through time and space.

You will be safely guided through the many rooms by the Illusion Heroes. The journey begins in the Tunnel Vision Room and continues in to the Drum Room. Here you must climb over Suppedasen to the Great Mirror Room that leads to the Spiral Tree and further in to the Crooked Room. In the Mirror Labyrinth you must find the way out, if you can?

The Cobra is set to be the "wildest" roller coaster on the Danish market!,

The Cobra measures some 25 meters at the highest point, the track length is 400 meters, the maximum speed is 70 km/h and the coaster involves 3 inversions and offers a maximum G-force of 4,5.

The Cobra is set to be the "wildest" roller coaster on the Danish market, and among the largest single projects ever made in a Danish amusement park. The Cobra is designed in Italy by RideTek Engineering and manufactured by SAC Sartori. The total cost of the Cobra is app. 4,4 mio euro.

The ferris wheel was presented at the world exhibition in Chicago in 1893 as an alternative to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The wheel was 88 meter high and could hold 2,160 passengers at a time.George Ferris was inspired by the classical merry-go-round which he turned upright.George Ferris considered the ferris wheel an American symbol of freedom.

Do you want to be a fire fighter when you grow up? Then try out Tivoli Friheden's new Fire station. Your job is to get in to the fire engine and speed off to put out the fire before anyone else. If you put out the flames first you are a real fire fighter.
